It is confirmed, the new survivorman season will start on November 7th, 2008. I am sure that everyone reading this is excited as I am. But there is something else to be excited about, the first episode of season 3 will be broadcast in high definition. This all was confirmed by Les Stroud himself on his own website Les Stroud.
It dosen’t say were the first episode will be, but I’m sure that we all agree that it dosen’t matter, we all just want a season 3 of survivorman.
Also, I would like to add, we opened our survivorman forums so anyone can talk about Les Stroud, survivorman, camping, survival, or anything else you would like to talk about when your bored at work or home. Please sign up and start joining the discussion.
Almost a year ago we launched the first survivorman forums so fans could talk about les stroud, camping, survival, episodes, and tons more. But soon after the forums got so flooded with spam that we couldnt host the forums anymore. We would like to try to launch the survivorman forums so everyone has a place to talk about les stroud/survivorman.
The real survovorman forums got shut down for unknown reasons. So these forums is the only forums set up to talk about survivorman, camping, surviving, survovirman episodes, or anything else that you would like to talk about while being bored at work or home.
Please join today and start posting! We are also looking for moderator to help keep the spam to a minumum. Mods would help us a lot and forum on articles and blog posts of survivorman.
One of my favorite times of the year has arrived! Shark Week on the discovery channel! For those of you that don’t know what shark week is… shark week is a week long special on the discovery channel that only shows episodes about sharks. And this year Les Stroud will have his own episode called “Surviving Skarks”.
The special will be about how to play it safe when encountering a shark in water. Les will be testing popular theories about shark encounters and will be traveling to to the Bahamas and South Africa… he’ll be seeing whether the behavior of Caribbean reef sharks and great whites changes depending upon the time of day. In South Africa Les will be analyzing the great white shark’s bite with marine biologist Jeremiah Sullivan. He’s also going to test whether kicking and splashing attracts sharks, and whether or not it’s safer to stay in a group or tread water alone if stranded in the ocean. Once again, it airs on Monday, July 28th, at 9pm.
Shark Week officially starts on Sunday, July 27th at 9pm with a brand new Mythbusters.
